This seminar is a brief discussion of personal protection inside the home and home defense. Differences between home defense and carrying a firearm outside of the home will be discussed, as well as safety issues regarding the use of firearms in the course of home defense. Discussion will include locks, doors, cameras, interior and exterior illumination, and various firearms appropriate to home defense. This seminar will not involve range time, but will give students an idea of what should and shouldn’t be applied in your home defense plan. Firearms will be available for students to test and determine what platform might work well for them.
